Celebrating 10 years of Beyond Diagnosis
Get ready to celebrate a significant milestone! Since 2015, Self Help UK, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, has been a consistent source of support for individuals living with cancer and their loved ones across Nottinghamshire. We’re incredibly proud to announce a special event to commemorate a decade of care, compassion, and unwavering support. Join us as we celebrate this momentous occasion in style!
Reflecting on this journey, Service Manager Pedram Owladi shares,
“This year, the Beyond Diagnosis Service celebrates 10 years of supporting people affected by Cancer. This is a very proud moment for us, particularly when we look back on how far we have come. From our initial model of providing emotional support through a team of volunteers, to becoming a service with 9 staff providing all manner of practical, emotional, and assistive support in close collaboration with the NHS and other voluntary sector services, we have managed to keep up with and adapt to the complex needs in this area.”
