Outreach and Development
Our Outreach and Development Team supports new groups to explore ideas. We offer practical support and advice on how to set up a self help group. More information about support for new groups.
For established self help groups we provide ongoing support, funding advice, help with policies and procedures and training in specific skills and situations that may affect a group. More information about support for existing groups.
We also offer resources and training to all of the groups that we support.
The Information Team provides a range of services and information in accessible formats. We produce an annual Directory of self help groups and self-care contacts in Nottinghamshire. Copies of the printed version are available on request.
Our Information Line provides information about self help groups in Nottinghamshire, and signposting to self-care services including helplines both locally and nationally.
