There are many ways we can all be more inclusive:

– Learn some basic sign language: Even a few signs can make a big difference in communication.

– Be mindful of background noise: When talking to someone who is deaf, try to find a quiet space to minimise distractions.

– Face the person you’re speaking to: This allows for lipreading and better facial expressions.

– Be patient and willing to repeat yourself: Communication may take a little longer, but a little patience goes a long way.

Together, we can create a more inclusive world for everyone!
