Do you want to play a key role in the operation of a Charity and its projects? If yes, this could be the role for you.

Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 pro-rata (actual salary £13,378 to £14,595)

22.5 hours per week (flexible working arrangements will be considered) including occasional early evenings

This role is to provide finance and administration support to Self Help UK, supporting peer support groups for people with long term health conditions, promoting the value of people helping people and through volunteer projects empowering people living with conditions such as cancer to live well.

Self Help UK works directly with individuals affected by cancer across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire (including the Deaf community) in partnership with Macmillan. Working closely with the CEO, you will play a key role in the operation of the Charity and its projects. As part of this role you will have responsibility for financial administration including the management of the accounts for the board of trustees. Also responsibility for the financial information required for various funding returns, the day to day financial management, as well as undertaking general admin tasks under the guidance of the CEO.

As part of the role you will also provide administrative support to the board of trustees including minute taking, preparation of board paper packs and support to board meetings and away days. This will include evening and occasional weekend working.
