We value your feedback. Our aim is to put the people we support first. By listening and learning from your experiences, we can improve our services to provide maximum benefit to those who use them.

Compliments and comments


Feedback of this nature will be used to recognise the work of individual staff and teams. If we know that we are getting things right,
we can continue working in this way.

Complaints

Self Help UK strive to deliver the best possible services but we acknowledge that sometimes things go wrong.
Please call 0115 911 1662 to speak to a member of the Self Help UK Team who will listen to your complaint and make sure that your complaint is addressed and if possible, resolved. If this is not possible then we will follow the Complaints Procedure below.
 

Complaints Procedure

  1. Self Help UK receives and acknowledges your complaint within 7 days.
  2. A member of the Self Help UK Team will record the details of your complaint.
  3. Senior staff at Self Help UK will investigate your complaint and respond within 14 days of you making the complaint.
  4. If you are happy with the action taken regarding your complaint, Self Help UK will consider the issue resolved.

  1. If you are not happy with the outcome you can request a review.
  2. The review will be completed by senior staff at Self Help UK who will keep you informed of any actions taken in response to your complaint.
  3. If you are happy with the outcome regarding your complaint we will consider the issue resolved.

  1. If you are not happy with the outcome you can request an appeal with Self Help UK’s Board of Trustees.
  2. Self Help UK’s Board of Trustees will respond to your appeal within 28 days of your request.
  3. If you are not happy with the outcome, Self Help UK’s Board of Trustees will provide you with details of independent organisations who will support you further with your complaint.
