The group has professional links with the Urology department, at the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, and with BME Cancer Communities, GMB Union, Unite Union, John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre and Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham Hospitals Charity. Meetings: second Wednesday every month from 6pm to 8pm, GMB Union 542 Woodborough Road Nottingham NG3 5FJ. The meeting is open to everyone but targets BME (but not exclusively) men, as they are twice as likely to be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. The meetings are free and confidentiality is one of the conditions whilst attending.
