Aphasia Mansfield
Summary:
We offer help and support to people with aphasia, a speech and language problem usually caused by stroke or brain injury. We swap hints and tips on coping with aphasia. We have speakers, trips, meals and picnics. We have quizzes and games, singing and art. We have discussions on different ways to communicate and of course a cuppa.
Who is this service for?
For People from Mansfield and the surrounding areas with aphasia and associated speech, language, reading and writing problems. Partners, carers, family and friends are welcome.

Meetings are on the third Tuesday of every month. Start and end times: 1 pm till 3 pm. The first meeting is free...then £2.50 per meeting to cover room hire, tea, coffee and buscuits. The building has level access. The building has access via a ramp. There is an induction or hearing loop available. the meeting room is accessible to wheelchairs. There is a disabled toilet available.
