Bassetlaw Self Help Link

Produces a directory and wall chart with details of self help support groups in Bassetlaw. Helps to set up new groups and gives continued support to existing groups.

Retford Action Centre has level access, services are provided on the ground floor and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet. There is no induction/hearing loop system.

Community Action Derby

Supports voluntary and community groups in the Derby area by providing advice, information and organisational development to new and existing groups. Networking and training events are also arranged. Has information on local voluntary and community groups in Derby and surrounding areas.

Community Action Derby has three external steps and ramped access; services are not provided on the ground floor and there is a wheelchair-accessible lift and toilet. There is an induction/hearing loop system.

Collaborates with Self Help Ashfield and Self Help Nottingham to produce an annual county directory of self help groups and useful contacts. Offers free training, practical ideas and funding advice to new and established self help groups. Also holds networking events for self help groups in Mansfield.

Mansfield CVS has level access to the front of the building and some internal ramps and steps. Services are provided on the ground floor and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet and an induction/hearing loop system.

Information and support for local charities and voluntary groups. Produces a directory of local community, voluntary and social groups. Consults with self help support groups and service users and carers to provide feedback on people's experiences of health and social care services. Also provides information and advice to voluntary groups and signposts volunteers into current volunteer roles/opportunities. Offers funding advice to community and voluntary groups in Newark and Sherwood.

Self Help Ashfield

Collaborates with Mansfield CVS and Self Help Nottingham to produce an annual county directory of self help groups and useful contacts. Offers help and guidance to existing self help groups and people who want to start up or join a group. Training, funding opportunities, insurance and event planning; district meetings for self help groups in Ashfield. Free loans of computers, projectors, cameras, PA system, induction/hearing loop etc. from Ashfield Links Forum.

Self Help Ashfield's office has 18 external steps, services are not provided on the ground floor and there is no internal lift or wheelchair-accessible toilet. There is an induction/hearing loop system.
